The Role

An exciting opportunity to lead the way in digital innovation and development!

We are looking for a Frontend Development Team Lead to drive the execution of development and integration activities within the Next Generation Product (NGP) Digital team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Development and Testing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery portfolio meets the required outputs and solutions, whilst adhering to all required standards. As the Frontend Development Team Lead, you will also lead your team to deliver scalable, reliable, and resilient front-end solutions, setting high standards and best practices for the team. Principle Accountabilities

  • Design and build scalable and performant front-end solutions in TypeScript, React and Next
  • Write testable code, built for scalability, reliability and resilience
  • An active member in technical discussions, contributing with insightful ideas to the decision making process
  • Coach and encourage team members with high standards and best practices to maintain & scale our platform
  • Work closely with relevant teams to ensure alignment, coordination and execution of the product backlog
  • Accountable for planning, tracking and reporting of the technical deliverables

Skills & Experience Required

  • Solid knowledge of working with Typescript, React & Next
  • Strong expertise in unit test, e2e test and integration testing
  • Experience in building highly scalable cloud based applications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to work effectively in a multicultural team
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
